Overview and Selection of Plans

Framer significantly revised its pricing plans in November 2024. Here’s an explanation of the new pricing structure.

Free Plan

Framer offers a free plan that allows you to try various things.

• Can be published with a Framer domain and Made in Framer banner.

• Up to 1,000 CMS items and 10 CMS collections are allowed.

• Free for up to 1,000 visitors per month.

• The maximum number is not specified, but collaborative editing by multiple users is possible.

Individual Plan

Paid plans are divided into individual use plans and enterprise plans, broadly categorized into two types.

The individual plan is ideal for individuals or small teams. It is lower in cost than the business plan, allows collaboration with 2 additional users, and includes one locale per site. Forms are also supported.

• Mini ¥770 per month
  Custom domain is available. Only 2 pages, homepage + 404 page.
  Ideal for individuals or small businesses looking to establish a professional online presence.
  
  

• Basic ¥1,500 per month
  Supports up to 1,000 pages and allows 2 CMS collections.
  Great for bloggers, portfolio websites, and small businesses that need content management.
  
  

• Pro ¥3,000 per month
  Supports up to 10,000 pages and 10 CMS collections, including staging environments.
  Ideal for small businesses needing more robust site features.

Business Plan

The business plan bridges the gap between individual plans and enterprise plans, allowing up to 6 collaborators per workspace, including features such as page drafts, CMS item management, advanced analytics, global CDN, and up to 5 locales per site.

• Startup ¥7,500 per month
  Supports up to 15,000 pages and 20 CMS collections.
  Ideal for startups with high traffic.
  
  

• Scaleup ¥20,000 per month
  Supports up to 30,000 pages and 30 CMS collections.
  Offers custom proxy add-ons for advanced proxy configurations.
  
  

• Enterprise Consultation required
  Customizable plans for large enterprises.

Criteria for Selection

• If you want to collaborate with multiple people
  In paid plans, editors other than the Owner are charged by the number of users. It seems reasonable to collaborate on files in the Free plan and copy them to a paid plan site. However, note that version history will not carry over when copying from a Free plan to a paid plan.

• If you want a personal portfolio site or a simple landing page
  If a custom domain is not necessary, the free plan is suitable.

  If you want to use a custom domain and only set up the Home page, Mini would be appropriate; if you want more than 2 pages, then Basic would likely be suitable.
  
  

• If you want a business site or a store website
  Since a basic custom domain will likely have more than 2 pages, if 2 CMS collections suffice, then Basic would be adequate, otherwise it might need to be Pro.

• If you want to expand globally
  If you want to add one locale (like Japanese and English), it can be accommodated with the individual plan below Pro.
  To add more than 2 locales other than the default, you need to choose the Startup plan or higher. Up to 5 are allowed, and exceeding that requires Enterprise. In all cases, additional monthly charges will apply.

• If you want to make only subpages on a Framer site
  The Scaleup plan offers custom proxy add-ons for advanced proxy configurations. The Enterprise plan comes with custom proxies as standard.
